Parallel Worlds

            Plains Coreopsis,Coreopsis tinctoria, with a little Unidentified Fly Object ready for takeoff. Taken on a monthly Bird Hike at Seabourne Creek Nature Park, with the Texas Master Naturalists Coastal Prairie Chapter.
Tech Note: handheld in a light breeze. 16-image Focus Bracket in camera, auto-alignment on the flowers and auto-blend in Photoshop got me the subject detail I wanted, but the background was not quite right. So I did a separate stack of the same images, which generated a much smoother background. Overlaid the blend, selected the subject and erased the rest.
