Lacrime di donna

            Un bambino chiede alla mamma: «Perché piangi?».
«Perché sono una donna» gli risponde.
«Non capisco» dice il bambino.
La mamma lo stringe a sé e gli dice: «E non potrai mai capire…»...
Più tardi il bambino chiede al papà: «Perché la mamma piange?»
«Tutte le donne piangono senza ragione», fu tutto quello che il papà seppe dirgli.
Divenuto adulto, chiese a Dio: «Signore, perché le donne piangono così facilmente?»
E Dio rispose:
«Quando l’ho creata, la donna doveva essere speciale.
Le ho dato delle spalle abbastanza forti per portare i pesi del mondo,
e abbastanza morbide per renderle confortevoli.
Le ho dato la forza di donare la vita,
quella di accettare il rifiuto che spesso le viene dai suoi figli.
Le ho dato la forza per permetterle di continuare quando tutti gli altri abbandonano.
Quella di farsi carico della sua famiglia senza pensare alla malattia e alla fatica.
Le ho dato la sensibilità di amare i suoi figli di un amore incondizionato,
anche quando essi la feriscono duramente.
Le ho dato la forza di sopportare il marito nelle sue debolezze
e di stare al suo fianco senza cedere.
E finalmente, le ho dato lacrime da versare quando ne sente il bisogno.
Vedi figlio mio, la bellezza di una donna
non è nei vestiti che porta, né nel suo viso, o nella sua capigliatura.
La bellezza di una donna risiede nei suoi occhi.
Sono la porta d’entrata del suo cuore, la porta dove risiede l’amore.
Ed è spesso con le lacrime che vedi passare il suo cuore»
