La Cueva del Viento es una cavidad volcánica enclavada en el barrio de Icod de los Vinos que lleva el mismo nombre. Se formó hace 27.000 años en lavas basálticas procedentes de la primera fase eruptiva del volcán Pico Viejo, situado en las faldas del Teide (Tenerife, islas Canarias).
La Cueva del Viento es la quinta cavidad Mayor del Mundo en terreno volcánico(18 Kilómetros), después de los cuatro de Hawaii, pero es la número uno, en su Formación Laberíntica. 
Dicha cavidad presenta gran variedad de paisajes subterráneos, siendo innumerables las ramificaciones aún sin explorar, que permitirán ampliar su longitud en el futuro. La Cueva del Viento también destaca por sus características geomorfológicas únicas, ya que su red de galerías se dispone en tres niveles superpuestos, fenómeno que no está descrito en ningún otro lugar del mundo.

The Wind Cave is nestled in the volcanic cavity neighborhood Icod bearing the same name. It was formed 27,000 years ago in basaltic lavas from the eruptive phase of the volcano Pico Viejo, located in the foothills of Teide (Tenerife, Canary Islands).
The Wind Cave is the fifth largest in the world cavity in volcanic soil (18 miles), after four of Hawaii, but is number one in its labyrinthine Training.
This cavity has a variety of landscapes underground, with countless unexplored branches, that will expand its length in the future. The Wind Cave is also known for its unique geomorphological features, as its network of galleries are available at three levels overlapping phenomenon that is not described in any other place in the world.
