            The hotel "Ukraine" is one of the seven buildings known as the "Stalin skyscrapers". The total area of the building of "Ukraine" is more than 88 thousand square meters. m, height - 206 m, including a 73-meter spire. On May 25, 1957, the grand opening of the hotel "Ukraine" took place. Recognized as the largest in Europe, it struck with the splendor of the interiors. Since the opening day, the hotel has become popular with numerous guests of the capital and for many years, until the closure for restoration, it welcomed them cordially.
