Ilex vomitoria. A generally unappealing name, but Yaupon is a great tea plant (and a relative of Yerba mate, of South America..another drinkable holly). It, like probably all the holly group is a great bee plant, generous in attractants, and open architecture so all who come may drink and eat. Great semi-understory, edge of forest plant.
