Die griechisch-orthodoxe Kirche am Fleischmarkt im 1. Bezirk ist die Kathedrale der griechisch-orthodoxen Metropolis Österreichs im ehemaligen Griechenviertel. 1782 erstmals zu einer Kirche umgebaut, bekam das Gebäude erst 1861 das in byzanthinischem Stil gehaltene Aussehen mit Turm und Kuppel. Auf dieser Collage könnt Ihr durch die Vorhalle auch einen Blick ins Innere der Kirche werfen.

The Greek Orthodox Church on Fleischmarkt in the 1st district is the cathedral of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Austria in the former Greek Quarter. First converted into a church in 1782, it was not until 1861 that the building was given its Byzantine-style appearance with tower and dome.On this collage you can also take a look inside the church through the vestibule.
