The Archetypal Kingfisher Shot - a photo on Flickriver

            A lunchtime stroll around Brabyns Park after my 1st jab, and I was rewarded with Mr Kingfisher being very busy up and down the River Goyt.

After watching him fly up and down the river at his usual rocket-like speed he settled on a branch fairly close by to me and presented himself in a pose that a top model couldnt beat  lol. Back facing me showing off that gorgeous electric blue flash and head turned watching his feeding spot!

The Dipper pair continuing their homemaking for this years brood alongside the river and a pair of Grey Wagtails also starting to look for a suitable home for this season

Brilliant!
