Goat Marsh Natural Research Area, Gifford Pinchot National Forest

Mount St. Helens, Washington. the marsh is only a few hundred years old, created about 700 - 800 years ago by mudflows during an eruption of Mt St Helens. A fascinating place to observe and learn.
