This is a 40 shot panorama of the Large Magellanic Cloud and the Carina Nebula above a lone tree on a wheat farm near Northam, 1.5 hours east of Perth in Western Australia.

This was a new type of composition I was trying out, given that mid November to mid December is the only time where the core is no longer visible at night and the vertical alignment of the Crux/Carina region of the Milky Way is not yet possible. So I thought I would try to align the Carina Nebula and the LMC perpendicular to the horizon....well, it was a good excuse to get out anyway :)
I also managed to get some significant airglow which added a bit of colour to the image
