This is a 31 shot panorama of the Milky Way setting over a lifeguard tower at Port Bouvard, about an hour south of Perth in Western Australia. This spot is very much in a residential area in the city of Mandurah but because the core is setting over the ocean I was able to get some nice detail and colour. It's not a big city so the light pollution isn't nearly as bad as it is further north in Perth.
