UP 1430 leaves downtown and Chicago Tribune behind with a healthy cut (for 2020 standards) of 6 empty hi cube boxcars. Here, the local is cutting through Vcna-Prairie Minerals, right in the heart of Chicago's River West neighborhood bound for North Avenue Yard.

Personally, it's not until you get some elevation you start to truly appreciate and admire Union Pacific's hold on one of the last pieces of true, downtown/industrial railroading left in Chicago; and why it's one of the coolest train/locals to shoot in the US.
