D12904. Babbacombe Beach at Torquay in South Devon.

            D12904.  Babbacombe Beach at Torquay in South Devon is described on their website as 'the unspoilt jewel in the crown of the English Riviera’.  It is an unspoilt cove below Babbacombe itself and reached by a 30% hill.  

I'm told that that's quite steep, but I haven't got a clue what it means.  If it said '1 in X', I would know whether it was steep or not!  

Alternatively, there is a footpath from Oddicombe Beach which, apart from a few steps, is mostly on the level.
