the wall where mirrors
reflect only 
your past visits
and the windows expand and
contract
like muscles that are
squeezing the breath
from your lungs
and your heavy heavy heart
swings in the cavity
hanging like a lost
dog
then you must revisit this space
and claim
what is left
and squeeze between the 
bars and breaks
to breathe
once more.
