Timeless winter

Processing notes: I was originally planning to post this in color but out of curiosity, I thought I'd see what it would look like in B&W. It was then that I noticed that, minus the color, there's not much in the shot that gives away what time period it was taken.

A bit of research reveals that the hill shown has been a popular tobogganing spot for generation after generation since 1911. With a little soft-focus, sepia tone and an antiquish texture, I think the scene could easily pass for a hundred years ago.

In the age of TV, the Internet and computer gaming, it seems some things remain timeless.
