The Urban Dam

Or, "All for Nothing # 22".

Whilst there are innumerable shots of its view, I've not seen many of the tower itself. Not in the evening, at least. Part of that may be down to the difficulty of finding vantage points. We walked down a path some distance and only really saw this opportunity.

HDR was really the only way to do the building justice- so many different light sources and colours going on otherwise. So... I'm pleased.

What I haven't talked about until now was the state of my feet. I hadn't considered the effect of my (nice but wholly inefficient) shoes on nigh-on two-weeks worth of walking. By the end of this particular evening, my feet felt like bloody stumps. It really started to affect the trip after Victoria Peak. Ouch.
