Portrait Assignment 03 - a photo on Flickriver

            After a few years of working with models I have become rather shy about asking real people for their portraits.  In fact I sometimes hesitate too long and miss likely portrait opportunities.  I have assigned myself to take 100 portraits of strangers.  This couple was very friendly and talkative and we had a lovely conversation.

Late this summer my husband and I ascended Mt Evans (14,265 ft elevation).  Mt Evans is the only 'forteener' in which one can park in a paved parking lot and hike up a short (but very steep) trail to the summit.
