Pullman Diner, Knottingley C3 PUL - a photo on Flickriver

            I bet this was a low-mileage vehicle, as it only seemed to come out to bring posh people's parties to the races ! This Van Hool Acron had been new to Wharfedale Pullman Travel back in 1987 as E84 SWW, but spent most of its life running as 540 U. In 2005 it passed to new operator Pullman Diner, who may perhaps have been its driver at WPT. It was his one and only vehicle, being sold in 2013.
