Mountain Blues - a photo on Flickriver

Mountain Blues

Ok, I have to somewhat ashamedly put my hand up here and say I'm not entirely sure which mountains these are! We took one of our 'dead end' roads along the west side of Loch Ewe and slightly beyond the small settlement of Cove to the Russian Arctic Convoy Memorial . The sun was still only slightly above An Teallach and to avoid excessive flare I took this image further to the south and west. Despite pouring over a map for some time I can not decide if these peaks are from the Fisherfield or Torridon range (though I have no doubt somebody can put me straight - please). However, I liked the recession of the fading blues so decided to face up to the embarassment and post it.
