Reprieved: 317710 2S33 Twyford Road Bishops Stortford 26/11/20

            Never did I think I'd see a 317/7 back up this way...

With London Overground finally having their fleet of new Class 710 units in functional order, the days of the Class 317/7s in active service appeared to be at an end.

However, with Greater Anglia now withdrawing a number of the Class 317/6 subclass from service due to non-compliance with disability access requirements, and their new order Class 720s not expected to arrive onto West Anglia passenger service until 2021 (1 year late), 8 of the former 317/7s used by London Overground have been taken on a temporary basis to plug fleet gaps.

Still with the full exterior London Overground livery and Greater Anglia logos attatched over the top, 317710 partnered with 317502 (I think...) passes over Twyford Road crossing working 2S33 13:15 Bishops Stortford to Stratford (London), having departed the origin station a mere minute or so prior to the photo 26/11/20
