Collapsing mountain roads, rural Jamaica

You can't see quite how dangerous this is for motorists or for the workers from this shot, but this is a road leading up the Blue Mountains, just outside Gordontown.

Due to torrential rains from Hurricane Matthew, the road had partially collapsed, as I understand from the locals it does quite regularly during Hurricane Season.

These guys are working on the road while allowing traffic to pass. I was in a vehicle behind and this is a candid shot taken from that vehicle. There is certainly a lack of health and safety there. It looked quite perilous.

In the distance, you can see a group of workers just sat on the wall.
