            The beautiful moon tonight
Focus manual, Full Manual, 200mm, ISO 100, Tree Exposure (20 secs at f8), Moon (1/50 sec at f8), blended in Photoshop

In Lightroom I take both images and adjust temperature, lens correction, sharpening etc (standard edit flow). The moon shot I take into Nik silver efex and bring out clarity to strengthen the moon's features.
From lightroom I then open both images as layers in photoshop, I patch the over exposed moon with the nearby sky, create a blank layer, sample the sky and blend with a brush (adjust opacity accordingly). The moon shot I place on top of layers and set blend mode to screen then clip a curves adjustment (S curve) - that's it
