            Excerpt from the brochure by Redleaf Cultural Integration:

The melted sugar can create brush strokes, fine lines, dots and different shapes in order to creat Chinese traditional Zodiacs designs, Chinese traditional lucky symbols and cartoon characters.  The sugar artist will apply a bamboo skewer in the middle of the completed sugar painting.  After the sugar-painting cools down, a bronze cooking spade will be used to slide under the sugar painting and gently lift it up and remove it from the marble.  People can enjoy the sugar painting as a giant decorative lollipop.
