Burney Falls - a photo on Flickriver

Burney Falls

            I was travelling on Interstate 5 headed to Washington and British Columbia when I encountered a road closure due to a grass fire just north of Redding, CA. I found an alternate route around the closed portion of Interstate 5 that just happened to take me right by McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. So, I stopped at the park for a few hours and took some shots of Burney Falls. It turned out to be a nice detour that I'm glad occurred.
