Route 15F, College Street to Aylesbury, Dublin Bus, AV155, September 2001

            Route 15F, College Street to Aylesbury via Parkland Road and QBC. Dublin Bus, AV155, (Broadstone Garage), Volvo B7LDD, ALX400, (00-D-70155) was photographed awaiting it's 16:55 departure time from College Street. This location is now the Trinity stop for the Luas green line tram.

On Sunday, 18th December 2011, as part of the Network Direct route redesign project, routes 15E and 15F were withdrawn. The 15E had only two daily departures Monday to Friday at 07:55 from Brookwood and 17:15 from Eden Quay. The route 15F had the same frequency but at 07:25 from Ellensborough and 16:55 from Eden Quay. The route 15D survived Network Direct although the original 15D routed to Limekiln Avenue via Templeogue and QBC whereas today's route 15D operates to Whitechurch with one departure at 08:05 from Whitechurch to Ringsend Road and two return afternoon/evening departures at 15:00 and 16:43 (Monday to Friday).   

Also on this date, the route 15 was merged with the route 128 and routes 74, 74A and 128 were withdrawn. The 15A and 15B were extended from Eden Quay to Benson Street and the 15B southern terminus was extended to Ballycullen Avenue. The route 140 southern terminus was extended from Wilton Terrace to Palmerston Park (former route 128 terminus).
