European Sand Martin (Riparia riparia)

            Taken at Bagworth Heath, Northwest Leicestershire.

I didn't know there was a Sand Martin wall here until I was told about it at the weekend by Butterflying.

Its located at the back of the main fishing pool, there a 98 holes and according to the BTO who checked it this morning 40 pairs are currently in residence.
