Whinchat (Saxicola rubetra) - a photo on Flickriver

            Taken in the Peak District, Derbyshire. 
This is our second visit as we were not happy with the shots we got, so a return visit to try and improve on them was in order.

We got into a male almost immediately, so we settled down to see were and what he was doing, we did spot his mate in the distance but she never came close.
I think we have improved but still need to do better.

A shot, from his second visit, distant again but a little closer, had real problems finding and getting focus.
