European Pied Flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca) - male

            Taken at Padley Gorge, Grindleford, Derbyshire.
We got the female first, not that far in, she flew off after collecting nesting material and we never managed to relocate her. We walked further in but never managed any sightings. We walked back and spotted a male it was already being watched by 2 photographers. Other people were attracted and they all headed straight for the birds. 
I prefer to use field craft to get my shots, so decided to get the other side of the bird and above it and then drop down on to it. Using the available cover I took a wide loop to get in position, and took these shots. 
I'm sure the others watchers, and the birds (2 males and 1 female) didn't even see my.
