European Bee-eater (Merops apiaster)

I apologise for the quality of this record shot in advance, I returned today to try and get better shots, and this is my best perching shot to date, my flight shots were not as good as previous ones.
Massive crop as it is impossible to get closer

The genus name Merops is Ancient Greek for "bee-eater", and apiaster is Latin, also meaning "bee-eater", from apis, "bee".
