With Flowers In Their Hair - Tulip # 10, 2021(Explored 4/28/21 & 1/26/22)-04-25-A1-C1-x21-18-32-03-(C,Smoothing2)-copy-1

            More wabi-sabi, and more tulips; I suspect that this pair has been around for some time, perhaps six months, perhaps 28 months! 

For me, this is as much about the stems and leaves as the flowers.  It reminded me of that song "If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair" (probably before your time), as I saw  two people dancing wildly, each with a tulip in their hair.  So now you know I'm not from Gen Z (or Y or X for that matter); heck, I'm too old to be a boomer!

 I've a new toy employed here, a soldering tool:  an 8.5 x 11 inch steel pad with rubber feet, and five magnetized moveable and bendable arms with clips at the end; two to three of them were used to hold these subjects in position.

The result of a multi-image focus stack, this image should reward pretty close examination.  Maximum viewing size on your computer can be found by opening the image in a separate window, making that window maximum size, typing the letter "L" on the keyboard, and then clicking the cursor as long as a '+' appears in it, typically twice.

BTW, I've taken to putting a white rim around these images on black because, on my iPhone flickr app, it is otherwise difficult to discern the image's edges.  I made it tiny because, while large mats look lovely on my desktop monitor, they make it hard for my tired old eyes to view an image on my iPhone's small screen.
