Looking for Light on a Cloudy Day (3 of 5) – Open Front Door

            My late April appointment at the nail salon was not until 4:00 p.m. so I had some available time on that drearily cloudy afternoon to take a few photos of this blue sleeveless dress that I purchased back in 2017, but up to this point had only previously worn in public once.

The weather was too windy for outdoor photos and natural lighting was too faint for many indoor locations. Wanting more light for indoor poses, I decided to position myself adjacent to, or near to, windows or open doorways to gain some additional lighting that way.

By standing in the entryway with the front door wide open, additional natural lighting was available for this interior pose. Also, this photo appears to best render the blue color of the heels.
