Wedding First Dance - Your love keeps lifting me (higher and higher)

Finally got there with the wedding photo edits, and picked one of my favourite moments of the day to share here. The couple's first dance was to the old soul classic "Your love keeps lifting me (higher and higher)" by Jackie Wilson and it really was a perfect choice.

I wont be posting too many on flickr, but you can view a slideshow (or thumbnails) of 158 photos from the day in the galleries page on my website

Quite a few are in B&W as i just think they look better that way, especially when shooting in low light with high ISO and no flash (I find flash can be too intrusive for quiet, candid or informal moments, which is the style i prefer and was also the brief for this wedding). Having said that, did actually use flash on this one (Speedlite 430 EX II) but still preferred it in monochrome.

I worked the wedding as a team with my good friend Paul Blackley (who can be found here on flickr as www.flickr.com/photos/hangin10/ and I will eventually hook up a decent back end photo system for the wight-life.co.uk website where we will be jointly promoting our event photography services.
