Zephyr - 2014 Round the Island Race

A companion piece (or alternative) to this mornings post, same scene and treatment but this time shot in portrait format.

So much catching up to do on photos / edits (and flickr visits) after a week away, still haven't really touched all the shots i got from the 2014 Round the Island Race the weekend before last.

Less than favourable racing conditions with little or no wind for most of the day, but I had in mind that the calm conditions and subtle lighting would suit a painterly approach this time around for me.
