Who's going to blink first? - Adult Male Grizzly (North American Brown Bear)

            This is a staredown you don't want - Grizzly bears are powerful, top-of-the-food-chain predators, yet much of their diet consists of nuts, berries, fruit, leaves, and roots. Bears also eat other animals, from rodents to moose. Most bears weigh between 300 and 800 pounds, but some captured animals weighed up to 1400 pounds. Grizzlies are typically brown, though their fur can appear to be white-tipped, or grizzled, lending them their traditional name.
