Mount Gould And Grinnell Glacier - a photo on Flickriver

            An extremely steep hike up a narrow ledge in sheer rock face of Swiftcurrent Ridge brought us to the top of the Continental Divide for a look over the other side into the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. It was the most spectacular view of the entire 13-mile hike - Mount Gould, Grinnell Glacier, and an iceberg-filled lake. And my last camera battery died. When I arrived home I discovered that by some miracle my camera took a single photo of the incredible scene.
