Winter Sunrise on the Continental Divide

            The morning alpenglow and first rays of the rising sun on the Continental Divide are always a spectacular experience this time of year when the sun is low in the southeast sky. This was a windy and cold (but clear) morning just ahead of the arrival of the next cold front a few hours later.  An adjacent summit called Windy Point is named that for a good reason, so with a little patience, a nice image can be taken between some of the lighter gusts.  Thanks for looking!
