Boar looking for food - a photo on Flickriver

Nature up close. These boars live in Stadspark Berg en Bos in Apeldoorn, within a very spacious enclosure. They have become used to people and therefore have a wonderful mud pool close to the fence.

It is not "wild", but for my 3 year old son it is a great way to get to know these animals. It impressed him and he thinks deer and boar are fantastic because of it.

They come close and that allows me to portray them beautifully. Of course I can pretend I met him in the wild, but I'd rather be honest about that. Many photos you come across online have a story like this, but they choose to pretend otherwise. I choose fair photography!
