40's Beauties: 1941 Ford Super Deluxe and the Texas Raiders

            The B-17, ‘Texas Raiders’ was involved in a deadly crash with another aircraft on November 12, 2022 in the Dallas area. Based in Conroe and part of the fleet of the Commemorative Air Force, the Texas Raiders was flying in the Wings Over Dallas Air Show when another Commemorative Air Force plane  a Bell P-63 Kingcobra, collided with her.  Both planes went down and exploded in a ball of flames when they hit the ground. The pilots and crew of both aircraft did not survive.
