Common Flameback Woodpecker - a photo on Flickriver

            Was out walking at the Botanic Garden testing the 100-400 on the A9. Heard the call of this gorgeous woodpecker. I quickly mounted the 2X TC on and started firing away not realising that I have set the cam for additional 1.5X crop factor. These were shot 1200mm at 10 MP  instead of the 24, X fine JPEG, not crop  &  handheld.  I like the color and IQ is good enough for me for that distance. Here are a couple of shots to share. The bokeh is lovely
