Trout Lilly - 1855

            A Macro image of a Trout Lilly, the camera is almost on the ground to get this shot.  Trout lillies are low to the ground, and tend to open downward, so you don't often see stamens and pistils.  This one is in the process of still opening up.

My first walk with my camera since hip-replacement surgery; so it was nice just to get out. It was a great day, I had no expectations so I was just happy to get a decent shot or two.
