Sylvia Hotel window - a photo on Flickriver

            Detail of the Sylvia Hotel, West End, Vancouver. The decorative vine was planted by the building's first tenant approx. 100 years ago, and today thickly covers the entire 8 storeys of the Gilford St. side and part of the Beach Ave. side too! I had a good wander around the Denman/English Bay area killing time before a behind-schedule appointment this afternoon. Couldn't really be mad about the wait as I got to see lots of nice old buildings, drink coffee, and sit at the beach for a bit too. 🌿 222/365.
