A Further, Further Stay of Execution

            After a withdrawal date set for January 1st 2020, Porterbrooks fleet of ageing Powercars and Rolling Stock were granted a reprieve by the DfT until July 28th 2020. This has now also passed and heading into August we are seeing more HSTs along the Poacher Line than ever before!

This morning 43076 'Help For Heroes' was turned out with 43059 for 1S01 Derby - Skegness seen here at Sand Lane with Gonerby Moor providing some nice contours in the background.

For the first time I have also managed to photograph Belvoir Castle in a Railway Photograph although I didnt realise until I processed the image this afternoon. It can be seen in the far distance to the right of the loco
