Milepost Ninety and a Quarter - a photo on Flickriver

            91126 'Darlington Hippodrome' makes light work of the climb up Stoke Bank at Careby on 31st May 2020 working Anglo-Scottish LNER service.

This location doesn't appear to be any different to anywhere else along the ECML but it went down in history on July 3rd 1938 as Mallard hit 126mph going down the bank, a record speed for a Steam Locomotive which is unlikely to ever be superceeded
