Taggart Lake - Grand Teton (Explored)

            I just returned from a 17 day road trip to the Grand Teton and Rocky Mtn. National Park with my photo buddy, Frank.  It's a long way  from NC.  We had a great time and saw some beautiful places.

This shot is from an early morning hike up to Taggart Lake in the Tetons.  We were the first ones on the trail this morning and for a short time had it all to ourselves.  The middle peak is the Grand Teton.  Elevation here is about 6900 feet.  The trail is well maintained with only a 300 ft. elevation gain over 1.6 miles.  But for most of the hike, you're unprotected from the sun.
