270/365 - a photo on Flickriver

270/365

            Day 1000!

I remember it so vividly, that cold January day where I set out with the task of completing a new photo taken everyday for a year.  Who would have thunk it that now, 1000 days later I have been published in a statewide newspaper, a regional magazine, and countless online blogs around the world.  To be honest, I didn't think that would all come from doing a 365.  Then again, I only thought I would be doing the 365 for one year, and when one wasn't enough I kept going and I'm now pushing out year three with no signs of stopping.  A composite is something I've thought about doing for years, but never had a good reason to do one.  Its more editing, and more work then I'd like to put into an photo but with lackluster images today I had to combine two into one.  Thank you to everyone who has followed me on this adventure, and those who are just discovering me! 

Id also like to make a shoutout to the people from myspace who carried themselves over to the portal we now call flickr.  The lounge is where I learned the tricks of my trade and without you guys in my life giving me ideas, and pointers (and silly remarks) I'm not entirely sure where I would be today!
