Mercado de San Miguel - a photo on Flickriver

            There are many places in Madrid that Michael and I visit again and again. One of these places is the „Mercado de San Miguel“. 
This visit is a must for us every time. We have already spent many culinary hours here and opened several bottles of wine. Wonderful. 

Opened in 1916 as an indoor market (one of the few and best iron buildings in the city), the century-old building was transformed into Madrid's first culinary market in 2009. In 2018, the market is now permanently established with a large part of its gastronomic offer.
