The Harlequin-house - Das Harlekin-Haus

There was a car some time ago, the VW Polo Harlequin. The house here at the end of a dried-up river bed (at least that seems to be one), which I discovered while driving through the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, reminded me of the unusual paintwork of this car.
Without exception, all the buildings that I otherwise saw were brown or reddish brown. That's why I immediately noticed this one with its bright colors.
I wonder what made the owner choose this brightly colored paint job. And I wonder how it will go down with his neighbors.

Es gab vor geraumer Zeit mal ein Auto, den VW Polo Harlekin. An die aussergewöhnliche Lackierung dieses Autos hat mich das Haus hier am Ende eines ausgetrockneten Flußbettes (zumindest scheint dass eins zu sein) erinnert, welches ich bei meiner Fahrt durch das Atlas Gebirge in Marokko entdeckt habe.
Ausnahmslos alle Gebäude, die ich sonst gesehen habe waren braun oder rotbraun. Darum ist mir dieses eine, mit seinen leuchtend bunten Farben auch sofort aufgefallen.
Ich frage mich, was den Eigentümer dazu bewogen hat, sich für diesen leuchtend bunten Anstrich zu entscheiden. Und ich frage mich, wie es wohl bei seinen Nachbarn ankommt.
