A place of freedom - Ein Ort der Freiheit (explore #156)

The main reason for my sunrise tour last Saturday on the small Winterberg in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains was, that I wanted to show friends my favorite tree in my favorite place at my favorite time.
I had the firm intention not to take the same picture as I usually do every time, but to look for other compositions.
That resolution lasted until I saw this. The fresh green of spring along with the mist in the valleys and the sun just behind the beautiful reef pine. Then it happened to me. I was fascinated, as if it was my first visit up here and I couldn’t resist. My weakness may be forgiven.

Der Hauptgrund für meine Sonnenaufgangstour am letzten Samstag auf den kleinen Winterberg im Elbsandsteingebirge war, dass ich Freunden meinen Lieblingsbaum an meinem Lieblingsort zu meiner Lieblingszeit zeigen wollte.
Ich hatte den festen Vorsatz nicht wieder das gleich Bild zu machen, wie ich sonst jedesmal mache, sondern nach anderen Kompositionen zu suchen.
Dieser Vorsatz hielt so lange, bis ich das hier gesehen habe. Das frische Grün des Frühlings zusammen mit dem Nebel in den Tälern und der Sonne direkt hinter der wunderschönen Riffkiefer. Da war es um mich geschehen. Ich war fasziniert, so als wäre es mein erster Besuch hier oben gewesen und ich konnte nicht widerstehen. Man vergebe mir meine Schwäche.
