Look up ahead! - Schau nach vorn! (Explore #204)

I want to start this year with a beautiful view. It is combining the memory of a wonderful morning on top of mt. "Hinteres Raubschloß" in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, with a look up ahead into a future what is still laying behind some fog, whose warm glowing nevertheless is already visible.
With the view of what is laying before me I have the choice where I direct my attention to. To the gloomy woodlands in the valley or the bright shining sky at the horizon. With that, I decide about the effect of the entire image. I also decide what part I grant with the power over my innermost, over my emotions.
If this is still not enough to look ahead full of hope and joy, I concentrate my attention to what is laying directly in front of me. Because already here, I find more than enough beauty, life and harmony.

Ich möchte das neue Jahr mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick beginnen. Er verbindet die Erinnerung an einen wundervollen Morgen auf dem Hinteren Raubschloß im Elbsandsteingebirge mit dem Blick nach vorn in eine Zukunft, die zwar noch teilweise im Nebel liegt, deren warmes Glühen jedoch schon erkennbar ist.
Beim Blick auf das, was vor mir liegt habe ich die Wahl, wohin ich meine Aufmerksamkeit lenke. Auf die düsteren Wälder im Tal oder den hell leuchtenden Himmel am Horizont. Damit entscheide ich über die Wirkung des gesamten Bildes. Ich entscheide auch, welchem Teil ich die Macht über mein Innerstes, über meine Gefühle einräume.
Und wenn das noch nicht reicht um voller Hoffung und Freude nach vorn zu blicken, konzentriere ich mich auf das, was direkt vor mir liegt. Denn schon hier finde ich mehr als genug Schönheit, Leben und Harmonie.
