There are some times that you feel very inspired to take shots. It may be the place that is very photogenic, it may also be the mood you are on. When i visited the Finger lakes back in July, on the very first day of my trip I realized that my all around lens (which I use the most when traveling) turned from 17-50mm to 17-20mm because of a loose screw on it inside (no drops, it just happened randomly). So it was pretty much unusable for me and I had to take all of my photos using the rest of my gear, which, for traveling isn't the most convenient as I would have to switch lenses frequently. I was bummed but not disappointed and I switced back to lenses that I dont usually use. And I think that overall, I am happy with the photos that I took on this trip, even if I had to go out of my comfort zone and waste time while switching gear. This one is another photo that I took from the winery at the shores of Lake Seneca (I've already posted 3 photos from there) and what surprised me most was that I felt very inspired to take photos even if i was forced to do things that I don't like. The view was amazing and I got to use my kit telephoto lens (not great quality on the glass but whatever, I had no other option) to take this photo and play a little bit with shallow DoF. I hope you like it as flowers is not my most preferable subject which I feel comfortable capturing. Happy new week everybody!
