Pendennis Cup, Fal Week - a photo on Flickriver

            We were out watching the Pendennis Cup, a contest betweeen very large yachts from a bygone (Edwardian) age. This close quarters incident shows one yacht bearing away round the stern of another in accordance with the racing rules. The picture was taken with a Canon S3 from another yacht (in quite choppy water) at a range of about a mile. Thank goodness for image stabilisation!

I have reprocessed this image in Serif Affinity and replaced the sky,  Only a fairly low resolution jpeg was available. A little help from NIL collection too.
